Manufacturing Production Coordinator

How you will contribute

CGP is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Manufacturing Production Coordinator position. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will work to ensure that the production department meets its quality assurance and scheduling goals by planning, scheduling, executing, and directing production activities.

Additionally, you will...

• Work within the ERP system
• Determine the work schedule based on customer orders and the availability of raw materials and production capacity.
• Work with the materials coordinator to ensure that production materials are available and adjust the schedule when necessary.
• Train and coach production team leaders and provide performance evaluations to give regular feedback.
• Maintain accountability for production team members to follow SOP's.
• Assist where needed with root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action activities.
• Promote Continuous Improvement throughout CGP.
• Demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all CGP safety policies and procedures

• Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with the ability to adapt to changes in scheduling, able to think on the fly, and able to handle high-stress decision-making scenarios.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in a positive manner

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Effective and positive interpersonal skills
• Able to work through problems with minimal assistance from the lead person or supervisor
• Able to work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time result without errors
• Able to prioritize and reassess task based on priority levels
• Personal computer skills including the use of Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Time Management

Highly qualified candidates will also possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field, preferred.
• 3-5 years experience as a production coordinator or in a related role in production.
• Experience with ERP software (Epicor), preferred.
• Possess excellent working knowledge of the organization and the industry.
