Experienced Quality Manager

Commercial Tool Group (CTG), which consists of Commercial Tool & Die, CG Automation & Fixture, CG Plastics, and Marnie's Transportation is seeking to find the ideal candidate to fill our Quality Management position!

This position will report directly to the president and oversee all Quality Department tasks and responsibilities corporate-wide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a quality, training, and safety system that augments customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and resource use.  
• Aid the president, plant managers, and vice presidents in reaching the company's strategic, tactical, and financial goals.
• Responsible for overall quality program structure and performance for CTG.
• Direct, plan, and implement policies and objectives of the Quality department in accordance with CTG objectives.
• Improve customer satisfaction through effective quality programs, systems, and people.
• Lead, mentor, and coach individuals within CTG in quality programs and processes.
• Analyze operations to evaluate performance of CTG and to determine areas of cost reduction and program improvement.
• Establish training appropriate with individual requirements.
• Maintain MIOSHA, MSDS, OSHA and all related safety concerns and requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

• Able to achieve results through effective collaboration, communication, and teamwork.
• Personal computer skills including the use of MS Office.
• Broad knowledge of Quality systems and measurement analysis.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers as well as with all levels within the organization.
• Proficient at problem solving, decision making and resource management.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, and national industrial safety for the protection of people and equipment (MIOSHA, MSDS, and OSHA).

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management
• Advanced certifications desirable, but not required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quality Management.
• Experience in plastic compression and injection molding preferred.
• Manufacturing/automotive supplier experience preferred.
