CNC Graphite Machinist

What You'll Do:

The Graphite Machinist is responsible for working alongside fellow machinists to handle our graphite machining operations. In this role, you will:

• Work within our ERP system for time card entries, selection of assembly /operations and evaluations, and access upcoming work for preparation.
• Mount and prep graphite into fixturing.
• Import CAD data and determine what size cutters, speeds and feed rates are needed.
• Create CAM programs and edit tool paths using CAM software.
• Import programs on the CNC machines.
• Place graphite in the CNC machine and operate to perform cutting.
• Monitor machines and examine parts for accuracy and quality defects. Make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Perform repairs where needed.
